MBE Franchises

What is a Franchise?
It is a previously profitable business tested as successful by a person called "Franchisee". The Franchise business model is based on a structure, which is operated through an established business system that is projected via a corporate image and licensed to independent individuals called Franchisees. By means of the Franchisor’s system, the Franchisee acquires the knowledge, experience and methodology of said business.
The relation between the franchisor and franchisee is regulated through a contract by means of which the Franchisor grants to the Franchisee a license to operate, use of its trade mark, commercial operating knowledge, and other "know-how" procedures to operate said business. On the other side, the Franchisee promises to maintain the same corporate image, commercial standards, and qualitative and operating standards established by the Franchisor.
Through economy of scale benefits the individual businessperson is provided a proven business model to expand commercial business services and products in their selected trade area.

The MBE business model is based on a Business Format system.
In a Business Format Franchise the franchisor gives the permission to the franchisee for the use of product, services, and a trademark. The entire business format is also taught to the franchisee including marketing, selling, inventory, accounting and personnel training.

Process of Granting an MBE Franchise
The process of granting an MBE franchise has the following steps: The process begins with filling out an MBE Application for Consideration. Once we receive the applicant’s application, we will contact the individual in order to schedule a telephone call or a meeting at our Regional offices. This first appointment is structured to answer initial questions and determine if an MBE Franchise is a good fit for the applicant.
After the first meeting the Master Licensee selection committee meets to review the applicant’s application and in writing approves or rejects the application. If approved the applicant is invited to a second meeting at which time we clarify any doubts and answer any further questions. At the end of the second meeting the applicant is provided a Letter of Intent to purchase an MBE Franchisee.
The next steps are for the applicant to sign the Letter of Intent and place a $10,000 USD deposit down. Within 30 days the applicant is required to review the Individual MBE franchise contract and pay the balance of fees required.
The next step after the contract is signed is for the new franchisee to select two to three retail locations within their trade area for review and approval by MBE Central America Region. Once a site has been selected the formal build process begins with an opening order place, furniture ordered and training scheduled.
